HTC Touch Pro 2 graces Verizon on September 11

I noticed something different. I found out Verizon will sell HTC Touch Pro 2 on september 11,2009 for $199.99 after $100 mail in rebate, but now I found this website stating that it will cost $299.99. I am confused, aren't you?
